Riz started his footballing life as a flying left winger. Pace, trickery with lethal left foot finish.

Despite injuries, with experience and strong will, he was able to become a support striker and able to strike a subliminal understanding with the striker partners he played with.

He excelled for the South London based ‘A-Team’ playing in the London wide Asian Football league, winning League and Cup doubles on a number of occasions and played in the qualifying stages of the FA Cup.

Riz joined AMY FC in June 2014 pre-season, as a player and soon became the manager of the 1st team for the season 2014/2015. Instilling discipline and hard work into the side that finished 3rd in the Kingston District division with a winning record of 14 out of 18 games.

Meshing his project management and Personal training background allied with strong leadership and organisational skills, Riz became chairman of the club in 2015.

He has since overseen the rise of the club through the leagues and has put in the structure that has lead to club running for over 5 years and is both financially and administratively strong. From this solid base, the club now has the ability to grow sustainably.
