Having worked within the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA UK) for over 25 years including serving as National Sports Secretary, football has always been a passion. Captained to victory a record 5 times, the National winners of AMYA UK ijtema Tournament.

Having played football for over 20 years at various levels across South and East London, has since (partly) hung up the Silver R9 boots and put that experience into managing since 2013.

Joined the club as reserve team player-manger in 2013 and took charge of the 1st team part way through the 2015/16 season.

To date, has won 3 out of the clubs 5 cup triumphs.

In his first full season in charge of the 1st team, achieved promotion in 2016/17 to the Surrey South East Combination Intermediate 1, in the same season finishing runner-up in the Surrey County Cup and were also notably winners of the Surrey South East Combination Fair Play Award.

Believes in the Brazilian ethos of playing the game!
