League Match #1

A Genuine hard-working performance was rewarded with a 1-0 win against Hanworth Sports, who were unbeaten in the league the whole of last season. It was a hard first game to have away, to start the season off.

We controlled the ball well and retained possession under pressure and the opposition wasn’t able to penetrate us easily. When they did manage to get through, Zar was there to meet them with some excellent stops.

Late second in the second half we managed to get a goal, with Kam coming off the bench to slot a penalty in the bottom left of the keeper.
An encouraging start to the season and still with room for improvement in the final third of the pitch.
