We were eager to start strong and quickly found some rhythm. Mesh was brought down for a stone wall penalty, but the ref play on only for the Oppo to break and score to go 1 nil up. We didn’t let that affect our play and soon equalised with Danial heading in from a corner in a first for the team in two Seasons. We followed that up with some good play and after some excellent two touch passing involving almost half the team Musa struck the ball home with a great shot. Sustained pressure saw us go 3-1 up before half time.

After halftime we let the Oppo back into the match. We kept up the good play and continued to create lots of opportunities but lacked the clinical touch. It was only a matter of time and finally went 4-2 up. We conceded again, setting up a tricky end, but the boys kept up the work ethic and saw it home.
