League Match #3

Playing last years League Champions and County Cup Winners, we had to make some personnel changes to starting line up with 3 starters being out. All that being said we stuck to the tactical shape and got at the Old Ruts defence, with Shubz making a number of runs from left wing, of which won us a penalty by handball. This was duly dispatched by Kam.

As the half drew on we then hit them from the right flank with Kam and Ibbi playing ar RB overlapping saw a well-worked move finished by Ibbi.

We had a few nervy moments in the first half but kept the ball out and from a corner managed to break away and a superb through ball from Mitz sent Kam into the clear to round the keeper and make it 3-0 before halftime.

The Second half was a stop-start affair as the opposition lost their cool. In between they managed to get a good goal back in off the post to make it 3-1. We held up well for the rest of the half with defence and CM doing a fighting job.

An excellent 3 points and the good start to the season continues.
