The team have been playing well recently and started well again, dominating the play, but a couple of mistakes and within 20 minutes somehow found ourselves 2 – 0 down. We didn’t drop our heads and kept playing, remaining patient, moving the ball around nicely. We kept up the pressure and continued to create chances with Dani causing the opposition serious problems throughout.

After some recent discussions, we are now a real threat from set plays and pulled one back with Danial heading in from a corner by Ata. We kept up the good work and after Musa was brought down and Dani scored the 25-yard freekick slapping it in the top bin (you don’t save those). The half ended 2-2.

We started the second half in the same manner, dominating the possession and moving the ball quickly and with purpose. We created lots of chances but some quality saves from the keeper somehow kept the score at 2-2. Dani was then brought down in the box when clean through and Musa took care of business slotting it home. We continued to dominate but couldn’t get that 2 goals cushion to really finish off the game.

Cue a manic last 15 minute where we lost our composure and discipline. The Oppo scored from a deflected cross and at 3-3 it could have been anyone’s game.

But that’s how ended. And with the point, the Reserves are now 3rd in the league and still improving every game.
