The team started with good energy again but were punished early after a slip of concentration at the back. The team reacted well and stepped up the pressure, moving the ball well and creating chances. The opposition, as expected, had by now resorted to trying to break up the play as much as possible with lots of late challenges flying around. We went close on a number of occasions with Hash and Musa not quite being able to finish off a couple of nice moves, and Dani hitting the crossbar from another free kick.

The second half began much like the first with us on the front foot and it didn’t take Long for us to get level. J picked out a very nice ball to put Musa through and at the second time of asking he put it away to make it 1-1.

We kept up the pressure but again found us down against the run of play when an overhit cross looped over Danish’s head into the goal. But the team has developed a much stronger mentality, not to mention quality, recently and came straight back at the opposition. And from a corner J was shoved over (not sure why the defender even bothered to be honest) and Musa stepped up to convert the penalty to take him to 9 goals for the season.

With the match becoming very stop-start with fouls all over the pitch we were, unfortunately, unable to keep our focus and finish the game off and so it ended 2-2.
