We started the match on the front foot and were one nil up within five minutes after a good through ball from Ak was converted by Dan Smith, who poked in the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper.

Having to re-organise the team, with injuries and players away, meaning the centre mid was made up of Sajeel, Shahjahan and Billoo, with Rehan pushed to left wing.

The opposition Westminster played a lot of aerial crosses and were looking to test Haseeb in goal, but we stood up well and worked hard as a unit.

We continued to create chances and could have increased the lead with chances that Subhan and Rehan both could’ve converted.

In the second half we got the second goal when Dan played Subhan down the right wing, he cut inside and curled a shot into the far left which left the goalkeeper standing still.

We could have had a Man City type 3rd goal but the opposition made a goal-line saving clearance.

There was a silly moment of ‘pink’ mist which led to a second yellow for biloo on 60 mins.

We dug in and the defensive unit led by Danish and Shah in CM stood firm, we conceded a scrappy goal but with 20 mins left we saw the game out.
